- Description:
- Detailed Gene Information: Click Here.
- Description: A nonreplicating adenoviral vector (adenovector) encoding the melanoma differentiation-associated 7 gene (MDA7) with potential antineoplastic activity. After intratumoral injection and adenovector-mediated gene transfer of MDA7 into tumor cells, the expressed MDA7 transgene may inhibit tumor cell proliferation and induce tumor cell apoptosis. This vaccine has been used in Her-2/neu-overexpressing breast cancer (McKenzie et al., 2004; NCIT_C48368).
