Mouse Response

  • Efficacy: Ag85B DNA immunization induced a statistically significant reduction in M. bovis CFU numbers in spleens (log 0.56) compared to what was seen for mice that received the plasmid pCI alone (P < 0.05). However, there was no significant reduction in bacterial load in lungs of pCI-Ag85B-immunized mice compared to the pCI control group (Teixeira et al., 2006).
