Molecule Role Protective antigen
Molecule Role Annotation Study evaluated the humoral immune response of mice that survived lethal Y. pestis aerosol challenge after antibiotic treatment. Results indicated that one of the predominant antibody response of mice surviving pneumonic plague after treatment with antibiotics was to yopH (Benner et al., 1999).
Additional Molecule Role Virmugen
Additional Molecule Role Annotation A yopH mutant is highly attenuated in mice and induced significant protection from challenge with wild type Y. pestis (Bubeck and Dube, 2007).
Related Vaccines(s) Yersinia pestis yopH mutant vaccine
