Function |
Type: plant-derived vaccine adjuvant. Induces Th1-biased immune profile. CARP-2 stimulates the immune response by engaging the TLR4 pathway, triggering the activation of NF-?B and MAPK pathways and upregulating CD40 and CD86, This activation leads to the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including TNF-? and IL-6, which in turn activate dendritic cells and other innate immune cells, ultimately shaping the adaptive response. The production of TNF-? and IL-6 also promotes the activation of T cells |
