- 11/17/2011: Protegen version 2.0 download is available.
- 9/07/2010: Samantha Sayers submitted four new pathogens: Borrelia burgdorferi, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus agalactiae. Many more protective antigens were added. At the same day, Oliver reviewed and proved the publication of these pathogens and protective antigens.
- 9/04/2010: Oliver reviewed and proved publication of newly curated protective antigens for three new pathogens in Protegen.
- 9/03/2010: Samantha Sayers submitted a new pathogen: Treponema pallidum. Samantha has also curated three protective antigens for this pathogen.
- 9/03/2010: Samantha Sayers submitted a new pathogen: Streptococcus pyogenes. Samantha has also curated five protective antigens for this pathogen.
- 9/02/2010: Samantha Sayers submitted a new pathogen: Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Samantha has also curated three protective antigens for this pathogen.
- 8/31/2010: As of today, Protegen included 540 protective antigens. Among these protective antigens, 481 come from 35 bacteria, 41 viruses, 19 parasites, and one fungal species. In addition, Protegen stores 59 protective antigens for cancer, allergies, and a plant (ricin) toxin.
