The CanVaxKB research was supported by NIH-NIAID grants R01AI081062 and U24AI171008 to Dr. Oliver He.

Dr. Jie Zheng, bioinformatician, ontologist, and software developer in Dr. He's laboratory, led the cancer vaccine ontology modeling and supported data analysis since July 2023.

Dr. Asiyah Yu Lin, who worked as a research fellow in Dr. He's laboratory during 2010-2014, contributed significantly to the CanVaxKB project during her research period in the lab. Asiyah has resumed her colllaboration on this project since 2019.

Mr. Edison Ong and Mr. Anthony Huffman, two graduate students in Bioinformatics in the University of Michigan Medical School, contributed significantly to the data annotation and analysis of the CanVaxKB project.

Mr. Zuoshuang Xiang and Mr. Bin Zhao, two bioinformaticians in the lab, supported the early stage of the CanVaxKB database and web interface development.

Many undergraduate and high school students participated in this project, most of whom were supported by the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) at the University of Michigan. We would like to acknowledge the following undergraduate and high school students who contributed to the CanVaxKB development:
