Vaxafe Introduction

The study of vaccine safety is very important to ensure the usage of safe vaccines and reduce the chance of having vaccine adverse events (VAEs), especially those severe vaccine adverse events.

Developed as a relatively independent program under the umbrella of the VIOLIN system, the Vaxafe vaccine safety database is focused on the collection, annotation, integration, and analysis of vaccine adverse event and other vaccine safety data.

Below is a list of resources and features offered in Cov19VaxKB:

VAE case query: The query input is the VAERS case report ID, and the query output is the detailed information of the de-identified individual VAE case.
Conditional query: This program allows conditional query of VAEs based on different filitering criteria, such as vaccine name, age, gender, state, and vaccination date.
Statistical analysis: This program allows the users to dynamically run statistical analysis of specific vaccine adverse events using our analysis pipeline.
