9/9/2013 News: To obtain more submissions, the deadline of submitting full-length papers and poster presentations has been extended to October 12 (Saturday), 2013 from August 15 (Thursday), 2013.
The detail about paper submission is as follows:

Full-length paper submission formats:
- For a submission to BMC Bioinformatics: Use the instructions for BMC Bioinforamtics authors. Note: Articles submitted for publication in the BMC Bioinformatics Supplement must be original research articles, and must not have been already published elsewhere.
- For a submission to Emerging Microbes & Infections (EMI) (a journal of the NPG family): Use the instructions for EMI authors. Note: Bioinformatics articles can be submitted to ICoVax for publication in Nature EMI as long as they are for vaccines against infectious diseases. Vaccine is a target area for emerging infectious diseases. There is no need to be pathogenesis studies.
- Note: all submitted articles must not have been already published elsewhere.
Poster abstract or software demo submission format:
- The abstract will be one page following the ISV general congress meeting format.
- Template: see an abstract Example. A PDF version needs to be generated before its submission in Easychair.
- Note: A poster abstract or software demo should be submitted on the same ICoVax2013 Easychair website.
Submission due days:
- For full-length papers, poster abstracts, and software demo applications: August 15 (Thursday), 2013. Note: The new deadline is an extension to the previous deadline of July 15 (Monday), 2013.
- For poster abstracts and software demo applications: August 23 (Friday), 2013.
- Note: an unaccepted full-length paper will automatically be allowed for poster presentation
- Full-length paper final submission: October 10 (Thursday), 2013 (Note: you will be given another chance to make changes on your full-length paper later after the workshop and before final journal publication)
Announcement of submission acceptance: September 15-28, 2013.
Note: Selected full-length papers accepted for the workshop will be invited for expansion to be included in a special issue(s) of Computational Vaccinology in the journal BMC Bionformatics or EMI. You can submit your papers to our workshop Easychair website for peer review for possible inclusion in this special issue without having to attend the workshop in person.
