Function |
IL-15 potently costimulates CD8+ T cells, and IL-15 administration expands the memory pool. Several studies have demonstrated that IL-15 therapy increases the size of the effector and memory pool generated in response to infection or immunization (Fewkes and Mackall, 2010). |
